Teleporting into his room with a severely injured mutant and putting her on his bed to rest was probably really stupid, but Trade wanted to stay secret, so Kurt kinda had to respect that. Here he could call for people at least, and her being on a bed sure beat lying in an alley. He hoped.
The girl's wounds were already healed, and Kurt didn't know how to give her more blood. He also didn't feel anything like comfortable getting the bloody clothes off her, that was just creepy. So he just perched on his desk, actually balanced on the writing surface with his knees drawn up like a gargoyle, a position only someone like Nightcrawler could find comfortable. and there he wvited, getting increasingly worried while she was out.

Unconsciousness grabbed her up and wrapped her in its darkness, dragging her into its depths. It had happened so quickly that there had been no chance of resistance from the white haired mutant. There were no dreams to tell her of her state. Nothing but a brief blackness before she was finding herself pulling herself out of the inky depths. The first thing she became aware of was no longer feeling a cool hard surface of pavement under her and no wall to her back. It was enough to set her on somewhat of an alert.
Trade bolted up into a sit, her eyes snapping open; one quickly scanning around while the other remained hidden behind the eye-patch. A brief moment of anxiety came to her in seeing the unfamiliar surroundings but before she reacted as far as leaping out of the bed, her sight settled on Nitghtcrawler. He was perched on a nearby desk.
Now that she was aware of the fact that she wouldn't be needing to defend herself and now that she had realized that this looked to be no hospital room, the strength she had suddenly had left just as suddenly and it was all she could do to keep from falling back down into a lay again.
"Where?" She nearly whispered out.

One powerful leap carried Kurt across the room to the side of the bed. It would have been a needlessly flashy move if that wasn't just simply the way Kurt moved when he got the choice. In a way, running and leaping felt more natural to him than the normal humanoid upright walk. His body just wasn't built for that.
Giving Trade a smile that he hoped was more reassuring than worried, Kurt offered her the water bottle from the bedside table. "This is my room, at the Xavier Institute. Don't worry, everyone's really cool here. I didn't tell them you're here anyway though."
Looking her over, Kurt's furry brow furrowed more deeply though. "Maybe I should ask Dr. McCoy or the Professor to help you. They're not like other doctors, they're really cool." He sincerely hoped he could convince her, especially since the grownups at the Institute really were that cool, but somehow Kurt didn't think so. He knew about not trusting people, he'd had that before the Professor found him.

When he leaped towards the bed, Trade got enough of a jolt of adrenaline for her to sit up again and she propped herself up with her arms, her visible eye locked firmly on him as she tried to see what he might have been up to. It wasn't that she thought he was going to attack her, it was simply reaction. After all, why attack her after he had just helped her? As he told her where this was that he had brought her to, she took another look around before settling her gaze on him again.
The Xavier Institute... He had mentioned it before but it had been in brief passing after he had found out that she was a mutant. As he reached out the bottle of water, she accepted it, shifting her weight so she was somewhat slouched but this being so she wouldn't just fall back on the bed again. The bottle was opened and she drank down some of the contents even as Nightcrawler spoke of asking a Dr. McCoy or 'the' Professor helping her. Though he said they weren't like doctors, she still visibly tensed.
"I'll be good with the drink." She told him.
She brought herself to look more relaxed before drinking some more of the water even if her stomach knotted slightly. After swallowing, she spoke again.
".... I don't know." She said after a long moment.

Since he'd half expected her to deny even the drink he offered her, Kurt was relieved when Trade took the bottle and drank. It sucked to not be able to do something for a person in trouble, he was far too empathic to be able to put up with that for long.
She did get a skeptical look for claiming to be fine with just the water though. Even if her cuts were closed, she'd been bleeding everywhere, enough to stain his sheets even now. Kurt would really have to come up with something to get those clean without anyone noticing. But since Trade got the impression that she might start throwing punches or just leave any moment, Kurt humored her. She needed rest, even he could tell that.
"Don't know what?" He asked her carefully. In fine Kurt tradition the young mutant was missing the point entirely. Did she mean about seeing the adults here, staying here, or something else?

Even after Nightcrawler had asked her what she didn't know, Trade took another drink from the bottle, leaving it at about half before taking it away from her lips and concentrating more on remaining sitting up. It would be so easy to just let herself lay down.... No, that was a lie. It would actually be hard for her as she wasn't used to staying down. She was used to making herself get back up each and every time she was knocked down.
"What you or they'd want in return." She replied.
Everything had a price. No one ever did something for someone else unless they wanted something in return. Yes, Nightcrawler had helped her before without naming his price yet, but there had to be a catch somewhere. He might not have thought of it just yet. Not that she thought he was out to get her, it was just life experience telling her this.

The boy's first response was to blink in surprise. He hadn't even considered wanting a reward, it always struck Kurt as obvious that you just helped out when someone was in trouble. He was a super hero after all. "Uh, you could say thanks?" He offered in a slightly uncertain tone of voice. "I didn't think about that before." Kurt admitted with a shrug and a small smirk.
"It's okay though. The Professor wants us to help out people in trouble. This place is a school where mutants can learn how to use their powers right, we're supposed to help people." For all his bashfulness, Kurt sounded pretty proud of that. He enjoyed what he did here, and he loved being an X-Man. Maybe he could get Trade to stay, more buddies in the house was always good.

A frown came to her lips when he told her that she could say thanks, as if that would be all she needed to do. Was he serious? This was a new situation for her and she didn't know how to react. So she drank down some more of the water in the attempt to help her body recover faster from the blood loss and to push off the shock that it was still trying to slip into. Then, she spoke up even if it was very quietly.
"Thank you. Now what else?"
There had to be something else. Nothing was ever this way in life.
As he explained to her about the Professor and more on what the 'Institute' they were in at the moment was about, Lorili was silent. There had to be something behind it all that either he didn't know or wasn't telling her about. It might have been terrible for her to think that way but she couldn't help it.
"How to use their powers right......" She half said to herself.
How many could there have been? Mutants, that is. Nightcrawler was the first one that she had met that she knew of. There might have been others, but she had never found out. She went into thought, looking at the now empty bottle in her hands. Then, her eyes went to red that stained the bed she was on and a slight crease formed between her brows.
"I'll pay for it. The sheets..." She told him, somewhat ashamed.
She knew how to get the stains out of cloth usually but with this much blood, it would possibly be better to just get new ones. That, and people usually tended to get unsettled at the thought of either wearing clothes that someone else had bled in or sleeping in blankets that had someone else's blood soaked into them at one point or another.

"No, no. It's cool." Kurt shook his head and waved his hands for emphasis, he'd really feel bad taking her money. He hadn't done anything that needed paying. "We've got like a whole closet of stuff, I'll get rid of those and nobody'll know. It'll be fine." If Kurt was a little more aware then he'd probably know that things rarely worked out all that smoothly when he said things like that and grinned as cheerfully as he did now. But right now he was feeling a bit proud of himself for reflection, it looked like she'd be okay and he'd managed to help someone.
Something occurred to the furry young man, and he cocked his head to look at her inquisitively. "Why were you lying there anyway? What happened?"

She bit her lower lip some as uncertainty washed over her. Not having really been very social... well, not with the right crowd or in a right way... brought her to feel a little lost when her offer was turned down the way it was. She found herself at a bit of a loss as far as what to do or say in response. So, she did what she usually did when she was unsure of something; she remained silent and observed.
Nightcrawler was smiling again and Lorili couldn't help but to wonder if he smiled so often to cover up something that might have been going on inside of him or if he was really that optimistic. If it was the latter, she hoped that he wouldn't be killed like she had been so many times. She couldn't even remember the last time she had been cheery. She tried to think back on it but the veil of blood that curtained her past was too thick to see through at the moment. Still, his smile was somewhat contagious and an ever so slight hint of one curled at one corner of her lips.
It was as if he had read her mind. The hint of a hint of the smile vanished in an instant when he asked her the reason behind the way he had found her.
"Old habits die hard." The white haired mutant stated before moving to get out of the bed.
Trade only managed to get up to her feet before she was forced to grab onto the nearby wall as she found it wasn't quite time to try that just yet. With a soundless sigh, she sank back into a sit on the edge of the bed.
"And it's one I can't shake." She added.

When Trade staggered, Kurt reflexively stepped forwards to support her. However, when she caught herself, he stopped just as instinctively, an inch from actually touching her. The time with the image inducer and his fur issues had given Kurt a natural version to unnecessary touches.
Her explanation didn't reassure the young mutant at all though. if anything, he looked at her with an even more worried expression. "What kind of habit? Is it like drugs or something?" Unlike most people who brought up a possible addiction, Kurt didn't have that undertone of disgust. To his mind it sounded like she had a problem, and so he felt it was his job to help. He had to know whvt the issue was first though.

He had moved and for once, she hadn't made a move to try to defend herself. Maybe he had gained enough of her trust, or maybe she was just worn out at that time so her reflexes were slow. Lorili planned on using the second option as the explanation if the question was ever brought up.
"No, never drugs."
She had gotten into enough situations without drugs or alcohol being brought into the mix. Her past naivety, the trusting nature she had had before she had been murdered, that had been more than enough to get her into the trouble she had gotten mixed up in. She hadn't needed outside help to get her into a mess. She walked in on her own accord.
"It's something I plan to stop."
It was her way of telling him to stop digging as it was more than likely going to be over now or soon. He really didn't have any reason to want to know what it was anyways. Just like he really didn't have a reason to be so persistent about helping her.... and none to bring her here... Trade just watched him for a moment. Was he really like this or was he up to something? If his nature was really like this, he was going to get into a lot of trouble. People like him didn't survive long in a world like this.

It was a relief that drugs weren't involved in the problem, though that only made it more mysterious. Kurt was going to find out what it was, or he knew he'd feel seriously guilty about it.
But with Trade blocking off the line of inquiry, there wasn't much Kurt could do, she was obviously not going to tell him. The young mutant's face fell a little, he was always sensitive to being pushed back by people. Not that he couldn't understand not wanting to share problems, he stayed quiet about a lot of his.
Still, there was one thing he COULD do, and so his downcast expression turned into a quietly encouraging smile. "That's great. But if you need help again, just call me. That's what we're here for."

As his smile seemed to drop, Lorili found herself wondering why. Then, right after, she found herself wondering why she was even concerned enough to want to know or finding herself wanting to know if he was being genuine. Was he getting under her skin? It was a term she had heard thrown around plenty of times. Sometimes she had overheard it mentioned when someone lost a fight. The manager would claim that someone had gotten under the loser's skin and that they hadn't gone into the fight with a clear head to start with. That the next opponent wouldn't be the same.
She didn't ever really figure out what exactly that meant seeing how she never got into conversations. Hell, she never even spoke so that was no big surprise. She could only go on guesses and she guessed, from the way it had been used and from her having heard it once or twice out of the rings as well, that it might have had to do with something along the lines of a person finding themselves thinking of someone as a..... as a... dare she even finish that thought?... Friend?
How? Why? When? She was never interested in trying to make friendships before. Not since she was reborn into the life she was now trying to drag herself out of. Sure, he had helped her before but a friend? Could she even trust that feeling? Could she even trust anyone again to let them become a friend in her mind? As he spoke, she tipped her head a little to the side.
That's what they were there for... He said it in a plural sense. Maybe he had helped her because it was some obligation due to the people he was with? She became a bit more unsure of this situation and found herself speaking up.
"We what?" She asked.
There was a pause before she spoke again.
"Was it friendship or obligation?"
Why did it matter? Why did she even ask? Lorili couldn't answer those questions that came to mind. Was she being effected by some kind of ability this other mutant had that made her lower her guard some?

Kurt got the impression that something he'd said had made her even more suspicious, which was majorly not cool. It wasn't that he had some sort of agenda going on, but the Professor said that the first step to helping people was to gain their trust. and if anyone would know, it would have to be him. The question about the 'we' was hard to answer, since he couldn't tell her they were X-Men, that needed to stay secret. "Uh...my buddies and me. We try to help out where we can." He said just a touch evasively. It was the truth, but Kurt really wasn't good at hiding things.
"I didn't have to help you if you thin that. But walking past when someone is hurt is seriously not cool. Who'd do that?" He sounded a little indignant there. People who did things like that really pissed Kurt off. Why would anyone be so selfish?
"But uh, being friends would be cool, if you like." Kurt was a little self-conscious there, but he really did like the idea. He had a very easy view of when someone started to be a friend, but it didn't lessen his dedication to those people when he did call them that.
