Three years after the war for the cure the world seems to have returned back to normal. Well, as normal as the world can be with the existence of mutants. The cure has proven only temporarily effective, all mutants who have been given the cure are finally back to their full power, weather they like it or not.
Through scientific efforts an exact copy of Jean Grey has been made, right down to her last memory before she turned into The Phoenix. With non stop training, and daily psychiatric help she was able to bring back the loved ones the Phoenix so heartlessly killed, returning Charles Xavier to the head of the school for the gifted.
However, Magneto's power has been restored as well, giving him back his brotherhood of mutants. And he is back with a vengeance! His plots for mutant domination have been getting more aggressive.
Though it pains Charles to think it, he fears his old friend is going to have to be taken out of the picture for good.
