Highschool can be hectic but add in powers and it can get down right chaotic. Mutants. They have been surfacing all across the globe as the rare few amongst billions to have the X-Gene awakened within them. They are so rare in fact that most of the world's population does not know of their existence. In fact, there are some Mutants that do not even know what they are. Why they are the way they are. Some still, do not even know if there are others like them. That believe they are completely alone in the world with their secret. With some, they find their way to Xavier's Institute for the Gifted. At Xavier's Institute, Professor Xavier has created a group in hopes of helping them to gain control of their new powers and shaping the young Mutants into upstanding citizens.
There are still those who are on their own or have ended up elsewhere... So far, the name has not been revealed neither has the leader. In fact, the cluster of Mutants are thought more of as a small group of rebellious teens in Bayville. Both their antics and the slip ups of other Mutants have been covered up or excuses have been made for the abnormal activities so for the time being, Mutants remain a secret.
