Scott made his way to the elevator with six other students in toe. It was time for one of the danger room sessions and he had hand chosen the students to attend. Hopefully, this wouldn’t end horribly. He couldn’t help but sigh as he looked back at the group around him. Some of the students where here because they needed extra help. Others where there because if he hadn’t chosen them, he’d never hear the end of it.
He pushed the button at the elevator and a second later, it dinged and the doors opened. Scott rushed the students inside, entering last and pushing the ‘sub-ground’ button. It didn’t take long for the doors to re-open and the students to exit.
Professor Xavier was already waiting in the control room to start the mission. Scott gathered the students and spoke to them. “Ok guys. This is just a practice mission. The greatest thing to remember is that you can still be hurt, so don’t get yourself killed. The second, is use your powers as much and as well as you can. That’s what we’re all hear for: to get better. So, let’s do this.” He turned and headed for the doors of the room.

Rogue tugged on her glove again. Ok, so she was new to the X-thing. And inexperienced with her powers. And had not much of a clue what she was doing. Her nervousness was starting to get to her. Sure she had a little bit of fighting training but this was a school full of people with powers for crying out loud! Still... it was Scott who asked her here and he was... oh, never mind. That wasn't the important part. Rogue brushed a few white strands from out of her face, watching the numbers on top of the elevator descend lower and lower.
However, when she entered the glorified "Danger Room" control area the Southern belle was a bit taken aback. No spikes of doom, no flamethrowers. Heck, there wasn't even a practice dummy in site. It was just a big, metal, empty room. Maybe she didn't have much to be scared of after all...
'Course, then Scott had to go and start talking about getting hurt and killed, and using powers. Rogue blew a stray strand out of her face. Just great. Not only was she going to get herself killed, but she was also supposed to knock out the other guys in the room with just one little tap...
She moved her way up to the front of the group, alongside Scott.
"Uh, Scott, are you sure me usin' mah powers is the best idea in the world?" Rogue asked quietly, looking at him as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. "'Cause, ya know, Ah don't wanna go 'round hurtin' somebody."

Scott looked around at the gathered students, nodding. He though he had done a fairly good job choosing students. Rogue, on the other hand, seemed to think differently. She approached him.
"Uh, Scott, are you sure me usin' mah powers is the best idea in the world?"
Scott’s eyes softened behind the ruby lenses of his glasses. “Of course, Rogue.”
"'Cause, ya know, Ah don't wanna go 'round hurtin' somebody."
He nodded. He knew exactly how she felt. When he was new to the team, he was very frightened of his powers due to his lack of control. In many forms, they where quite the same. “You’ll have to learn to accept your powers at some time. If you don’t, you’ll never be bale to control it.” He led the students into the changing room that was across the hall from the danger room.
The team split into genders and entered their rooms. Scott gave them all about five minutes to change into their X-Uniforms before meeting again in the halls.

Rogue snorted. Uh, yeah, sure. Controlling it. She had nothing against practicing using her powers. That she had absolutely no problem with. But it wasn't like she could go and knock someone else out just for the purpose of using her powers. Besides, then she'd be using someone elses powers, and that was just plain weird. Then again, Kurt's were fun when she borrowed them that one time. Maybe... no. No. No no no. She had to get the thought out of her head before she really did hurt someone. Sighing a bit, she went into the girl's changing room to change, which mostly meant securing on her gloves and taking off the jewelry. Oh yeah, and the spandex suit, couldn't forget that...
"Hi! I'm Carol Danvers," a blonde girl said, sticking out her hand far in front of her towards the Southerner. Rogue raised an eyebrow, unsure of what to do with the awkward hand sticking out in front of her. Rogue blinked a few times. "Uh... sorry... Ah don't shake hands... It's nothin' personal..." Rogue replied as she finished putting on the other glove.
Apparently Carol was having none of that for an answer, deciding to shake Rogue's hand anyway. Big mistake for her part. There was an ear piercing scream from both girls as they tried to separate the bond, but to no avail. They were stuck...
((OOC: I can edit this post if need be, everyone, I just wanted to try and get the Ms. Marvel powers))

((Because of Rogue's power. If someone else came they could pull them apart physically))
