Saterday night...If Jenn were still in Miami she's definitely be somewhere more interesting then the mall. She could barely believe her social life had come to this, hanging out at the mall...uck, how...juvenile. But there wasn't much else she could find to do around Bayville, it was so small compared to her old life.
The black haired blue eyed girl was wearing a black tank top which ended at just about her belly button, which showed off all of the flame tattoo on her right arm, and just a bit of the phoenix tattoo on her stomach. Her jeans had tears all down the legs, showing off the phoenix's tail which went down to the left knee.
So there she was, in the food court, leaning against the wall picking at a cup filled with ice cream, eating it, but not, as she scanned the people around her, looking for someone to either find interesting, or someone to harass.

," she groaned. Bayville, New York. " It has nothing!," she exclaimed, but only loud enough for herself to hear. Public temper tantrums though plausible were only saved for dire emergencies, and this was just a catastrophe level. " Why did I even decide to settle down here?," she asked rhetorically. Ever since coming from China to the United States, Kai-Ying sought the most interesting of places. Los Angeles was top contender with New York, but in the end the East Coast prevailed. She reminded herself, " Because everything happens in New York." Dressed in a pink mini skirt, black 'Girl on Girl' tank top, and white high heels, Yu Kai-Ying was just looking to be eye candy to any and every one who looked; most did, who could blame them? She was hot like fire, and anyone who disagreed wasn't worth respecting anyway, which brought her to Jennifer De'Laney. She was looking everywhere but at Kai-Ying! " Excuse me, hon.," the Asian chimed in. " What exactly are you looking at in this... dreg of a place?"[/ul]

Hearing a woman's voice directed to her, Jenn's eyes moved to the direction of the Asian woman. After looking her up and down she gave a bit of a smile...Finally someone who looked like she knew of something fun to do in this spit of a town. After a second she shrugged and turned to toss her half eaten icecream in a trash can, more so doing it just to turn a bit and show off her body and tattoos to any men who might be looking, and why wouldn't they...
"Not much to look at around here." She stated matter of factly as she brought her attention back to the Asian. "Like you said...Dreg of a place." It probably would have seemed alot livelier of a place if she was willing to talk to more people, but the kids at school acted, well, like kids, and it's so hard to meet fun people without the aid of a club or something of the sorts.
"What about you? If you think this place is so horrible why are you here?" She asked with a raised brow as she crossed her arms. "If I knew of anywhere better to be on a saterday night I'd be there." Oh the curse of being new in town...

, Kai-Ying thought to herself. " Why am I here?," she repeated the girl's question. " To be the best damn thing that ever graced this town.", she confided with an arrogant aura. " New York and L.A. aren't ready for me, so I figured I'd go easy on the populous." Poor girl. This is how she spent her Saturday nights? T'sk! " This... isn't what you've been doing every weekend, has it?," she asked. As she asked it, it seemed a normal tone, but as it approached the end it was one of disbelief. " How anyone could waste away their life like this is beyond me, but look around - so many idiots wandering around, with no purpose or motive."[/ul]

Jen raised a brow. How could this girl be the best thing to happen to this town when Jenn had already claimed this spot...well, in her mind anyways. "Girl if you can get out of here....Do it. I'd give anything to get back to Miami...Though, you're right, LA does sound fun." She ran her fingers through her long black hair before leaning against the wall once more, crossing her arms.
"This is my first weekend in town...Well, one free to do anything." Up until this point she was either unpacking or putting up with some stupid activity her mother wanted them to do so they could meet people. It was only now that she gave up and let Jenn meet people on her own.
"That's what I've been trying to figure out myself." She was beginning to recognize a few faces that scattered the mall as kids from school, but she really couldn't care any less about them. She was more interested in the girl infront of her, she seemed just like her friends from back home, exactly the person worthy enough to potentially call a friend. "So come on then, what else is there to do in this god-forsaken place aside from turning yourself into a mall rat?" She asked sounding a bit impatient, as if the girl should have given her the information days before meeting her.

," she said with a light smile, knowing, despite her appearance, a bit about the political workings of the world. " You said Miami, lovely city.," Kai-Ying stated. " Beautiful beaches, gorgeous people, excellent outlets." Yes, she could go on and on and on and on about Miami, but it would be best to hear Jennifer's own testament. Not that it mattered, Kai-Ying already had her own opinion of the place, and no one was going to change her mind. " Should be going back soon, maybe you could tag along." Offer made, there was now the issue of what to do. Jennifer appeared insanely bored here, who could blame her? For once in the few times in her life, Kai-Ying took sympathy and decided to perk the girl's weekend up. " How old are you, darling?," she asked, wanting to get a feel for the girl's age. " Honestly, it doesn't matter. I'm such a hot commodity around here, I could get you into any club you wanted."[/ul]

Jenn's face grew a smile as she listened to the woman. "You forgot the club life. Never a dull moment after dark down there." She said with a smirk on her face, as if hinting that she wasn't just talking about the clubs Miami had to offer. "I'm sure I could swing a trip back home." She said with a slight smile, thinking about how fun it would be to hit up all her old places again...flirt with a few guys, get some drinks out of em then never see them from that night onward. "I'm sure you and I could have alot of fun. I'll take you to all the right places."
"I'm Seventeen...As if it matters." She answered as she tossed her long black hair behind her shoulders. "If you can get me out of here and into somewhere more entertaining please do." She added with a tone of voice that sounded like it was the Chinese woman's job to do as she requested.

," she smiled. " Just fine, indeed." Jennifer was an interesting girl, she talked the talk but could she walk the walk? Kai-Ying was about to find out, but first there was the pressing matter of her age. " 17?," she asked, but rhetorically. Not wanting a confirmation answer, she continued. " You look older, but I'm sure you know that, even use it to your advantage. Boys must caught off guard all the time." Jenn reminded Kai-Ying of herself at that age, though their situations were a lot different - a lot different. " Ever been to the Red Star? Superb drinks, music, and all the hunks you could ever want." If Jennifer wanted something more down to earth, she was hanging with the wrong woman. " It isn't too far from here actually, I'd be willing to take you... if you don't mind riding with a stranger." It would be amusing to see if Jennifer took any advice from her parents, like never accepting rides from strangers. But the look of boredom in the girl's eyes seemed to indicate the opposite, and there was the suspicion that the teenager was a rule breaker, too.[/ul]
